Morons With Signs
Election time is only 2 weeks or so away as I write this, and everywhere people are holding signs for "Senator Douchebag" and "Representative Pinhead". I fail to understand this phenomenon every time I see it. Yet, every election time there they are whether it be local, state, or national elections. Do these unpaid volunteers expect a sign to sway a vote? I certainly hope not. I don't want to live in a country of people who vote at the prompting of a sign.
This one particular couple comes to mind. They have been standing in the same spot, breakfast, lunch, and dinner time for 4 weeks. Rain or shine. They aren't being paid, and they are standing out in rain and sun for this guy who probably doesn't even know who they are. It's come to my attention that these may be his parents, in which case, the dedication makes sense. I'd hate to think anyone would donate any and all free time to a cause such as this one.

You know Vincey Kins... I usually don't step up too hard... but lately ... I just don't know... A guy or large breasted gal with a sign puts a face with the name on the sign... it also puts a sign holder in a place to talk to someone who might care about the supporters candidate...
Now some of these folks are not the top of the pile conversationally...and they might be clueless...
Like everyone who ever held a Kerry Sign... Like having a Jew hold a Hitler sign... You have to remember... Uncle Adolph like most socialists killed off the folks who supported him early on... as weak people who are easily swayed... I don't think the swiftboat venereal disease will act any differently...
Actual death is not as bad as being abandoned by the one you supported...
I can balance the budget (Of course he can by putting more of his friends on board and taxing the Sheeple who held signs into homelessness.. )
I am a sportsman your non asshole weapons are safe with me ( But he has proudly talked about his AK-47 war trophy... Is he a Title three license holder??? or a lying piece of used food???)
Hold your sign proudly but know the guy whose name is on the sign... If you can't get close enough to feel comfortable... tell them to Fleep off.... And know something about the guy your advertising... so when I walk up to ask you a question you can reply intellegently... (Unless you are a JFK supporter... I'll know not to bother you)
